‘Strengthen Shakti Kendra to empower party at grassroots’ | Lucknow News
Lucknow: UP BJP state general secretary (organization) Dharampal Singh on Wednesday said that a strong Shakti Kendra happened to be the crucial link between the Mandal and the booth, and its strengthening would empower the party at the grassroots.Addressing meetings of Mandal presidents and Shakti Kendra convenors in Jaunpur and Machhlishahr, as well as Scheduled Caste Front, Singh stressed on the need to build a culture of accountability by entrusting responsibilities to every worker. He also discussed the strategy for upcoming three-tier Panchayat elections, the Seva Pakhwada campaign, and ensuring booth-level victories. Singh said the BJP, world’s largest political party, is built on disciplined and dedicated workers. He stressed that organizational expansion must continue by inducting new members and encouraging greater participation of youth and women in party programmes. Highlighting the Narendra Modi govt’s welfare schemes and commitment to social justice inspired by BR Ambedkar, Singh said the party’s habit of regularly engaging with the people. “The responsibility of a Shakti Kendra should be given to active and energetic workers,” he said adding: “When Shakti Kendras are strong, booths will be strong, and with strong booths, the Mandal and ultimately the entire organization will be strong.” He said that through this organizational strength, BJP will not only achieve its resolutions but also contribute to building a self-reliant and glorious nation.
