Kashi to Gaya spl bus during ‘Pitra Paksh’ | Lucknow News
Lucknow: State govt launched special bus service to Gaya, Bihar, to facilitate rituals for departed ancestors and family members during Pitra Paksh. The bus is running from Varanasi to Bodh Gaya, Bihar, all seven days of the week, since it was introduced on Aug 14. The bus departs from Varanasi Cantt bus depot at 8 pm to reach Gaya at 4 am the next day, via Chandauli, Sasaram, Aurangabad, and Sherghati. The fare is Rs 465.Among two other bus services launched from UP to other states are from Lucknow to Muzaffarpur and from Meerut to Sonepat. Minister of state for transport (independent charge) Dayashankar Singh said the bus services may be made regular in future.
