However, it seems the audience has to wait more to watch the father-daughter duo together on the big screens. According to Mid-Day, the makers have shifted the release date of the movie due to SRK’s shoulder injury. For the unversed, the actor got hurt while shooting for an action sequence for the movie. For the actor’s recovery, the film team has put the shooting on hold for now. The publication further reports, “Shah Rukh needs to rest it out for weeks before he can face the camera again. It is an action-heavy film, so the team doesn’t want to take a chance with his health.“
Shah Rukh Khan gets injured during the ‘King’ shoot
According to the Bollywood Hungama report, Khan got injured while shooting for an intense action sequence at a studio in Mumbai. Though the details about the injury always remained under wraps, it was reported that the actor went to the US for the treatment of the same.A report mentions, “It’s not a serious injury but more of a muscular strain.”As the doctors have advised the actor to take complete rest, the bookings made at the studio for July and August have been cancelled now. Reportedly, the next schedule of the film will start in October this year.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, and Anil Kapoor. As per the reports, Khan will be seen playing the role of an assassin in the criminal world, while Suhana will be his student.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the makers of the film have got on board international action directors for stunts.
