UPSRTC to bear ETIM damage cost | Lucknow News
Lucknow: In the first case of intentional or unintentional damage or malfunctioning of Electronic Ticket Issuing Machine (ETIM), UPSRTC will not make any recovery from employee found guilty and replacement expenses will be borne by the corporation. UPSRTC MD, Prabhu N Singh, issued instructions to all regional managers in this regard, adding that employee found guilty again within a year, will have to bear the replacement expenses.In case of loss of machine by user employee, negligence will be considered automatically proved and will have to pay cost of machine, said an official. As per the existing system, recovery of physical damage to ETIM machines was made from the guilty employee, said the official. TNN
