UPCC chief visits kin of terror attack victim | Lucknow News
Lucknow: UPCC president Ajay Rai on Thursday visited the family of late Dinesh Mishra at Ganeshpur Majra village in Shravasti to offer condolences. Mishra was among those killed in the terrorist attack in Delhi.Rai condemned the incident, calling it a ‘cowardly act’ that once again exposed gaps in the country’s security and intelligence systems. “The entire nation stands against such barbaric attacks and demands the harshest punishment for the perpetrators,” he said.“The wounds of the killing of tourists in Pahalgam were not yet healed when innocent citizens were again targeted in Delhi,” Rai added. He demanded that Union home minister Amit Shah take moral responsibility for repeated lapses and resign from his post.Rai also urged govt to provide immediate financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to Mishra’s family and a govt job to one of its members.
