Two gates in city to honour Shux | Lucknow News
LMC will construct two commemorative gates in Triveninagar and Rajendra Nagar in the honour of astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, mayor Sushma Kharkwal said. She added that besides the road opposite his residence, the gate in Rajendranagar would also bear his name. Triveninagar corporator Dev Sharma and Rajendra Nagar corporator Rajiv Dixit pledged that the gates would be built with their own allocations. They requested immediate approval, which was granted by the mayor. She suggested that corporators should identify a local park for similar naming. Once such parks were identified, a proposal would be brought forward to name them after Shubhanshu.
