Lucknow: A day after the state govt adopted ‘Swastha Nari, Sashakt Pariwar’ campaign, deputy CM Brajesh Pathak on Thursday said that providing quality treatment to every patient who visits govt hospitals is our top priority.He made the statement during his surprise inspections at the district hospital in Barabanki and the CHC in Chinhat. Pathak interacted with patients and attendants to understand the healthcare facilities and directed hospital management to ensure cleanliness, proper arrangements in emergency wards, and uninterrupted availability of medicines. He stressed that no patient should leave the hospital without treatment. The visits were part of the Seva Pakhwada being observed across the country from Sept 17 to Oct 2 to mark P M Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. At Barabanki’s Rafi Ahmed Kidwai District Hospital, the Deputy CM inspected the blood centre, pathology collection centre, and emergency services. He instructed that there should be no waterlogging on the premises and hygiene standards must be maintained. At Chinhat CHC, he reviewed health activities under Seva Pakhwada and met patients and their families. Pathak said health programmes are being held statewide for women, children, and the elderly, along with large-scale blood donation camps to benefit people directly.
