Private jet crashes in UP’s Farrukhabad; aircraft lost control during take off | Meerut News
NEW DEHI: A private aircraft lost control during takeoff and veered off the runway into nearby bushes in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, officials said. As per news agency ANI both pilots of the aircraft and passengers escaped unhurt.A video shared by ANI from the crash site showed the aircraft resting on the ground with its wings and propeller intact.

While the front section was visibly tilted downward, the overall damage appeared minimal.Confirming the incident, Farrukhabad district magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi said, “Promoting investment in the context of the ‘Viksit Bharat’ initiative, an investor had arrived with a proposed investment of Rs 570 crore. While taking off, the jet experienced a minor issue and slipped off the airstrip. Fortunately, no one got injured.”The aircraft was later secured, and officials initiated a probe into the cause of the incident.
