Pathak visits diarrhoea-hit Jankipuram

Lucknow: In response to the rising cases of diarrhoea in the Jankipuram area, deputy CM Brajesh Pathak conducted an on-ground inspection on Sunday.Pathak reviewed the functioning of the health camp and instructed that it be shifted from an open area to a nearby school for better management. He also issued directives to ensure proper sanitation, drainage system construction, water tank repair, and cleanliness of nearby parks.Pathak interacted with the families of patients and assured them of all possible support and free medical treatment. He emphasized that no negligence in patient care would be tolerated. He also ordered the immediate deployment of a paediatrician and a general physician at the trauma centre located in Jankipuram.MLA Yogesh Shukla, corporator Deepak Kumar, senior health officials, municipal officers, and other representatives from concerned departments were present.Officials from the health department, municipal corporation, and Jal Kal (Water Works) department also accompanied the deputy CM.
