Negligence in solving plaints will attract strict action: CM | Lucknow News



Lucknow: Warning officials against any laxity, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that any negligence in resolution of people’s problems is unforgivable and will attract disciplinary action.Holding a review meeting with divisional commissioners, district magistrates, superintendents of police and senior administrative and police officers on law and order, Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS), CM Helpline, preparations for the upcoming festivals, flood situation, dengue control and health services, the CM said that complaints received through IGRS and CM Helpline should be resolved satisfactorily.“Satisfaction of complainants and their feedback will be the real measure of the performance of officials. Safety of women and daughters is paramount for the govt. Anti-Romeo Squad should be activated in all the districts,” the CM said.“New phase of ‘Mission Shakti‘ will start in the Navratri and all the districts should make extensive preparations for it,” Yogi said.The CM also released the ranking of public complaints received on IGRS and CM Helpline at all the levels from divisional to police station level. “Solution should be ensured with full sensitivity while respecting the sentiments of every victim. Disciplinary action will be taken against officials if they file fake or misleading reports,” he said.Expressing happiness over peaceful completion of festivals so far, the CM said officials should stay alert in view of upcoming Barawafaat, Anant Chaturdashi and Vishwakarma Puja.On floods and heavy rain, Yogi said that relief work should be made effective and guidance of public representatives should be taken. He said that Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Melas should be organised to ensure availability of medicines.Expressing serious concern over the sale of fake or sub-standard medicines, the chief minister said that not even a single such activity will be tolerated in the state. The administration was instructed to maintain constant vigilance and strict monitoring.He also directed officials to ensure that no farmer faced shortage of fertilisers and strict action should be taken against black marketing or hoarding.The CM said that preparations for Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on Sep 6-7 should be foolproof. He said that special arrangements should be made for confidentiality of question papers.“Strict action will be taken against rumour-mongers. The district administration should coordinate with the examination organising body and provide proper facilities to candidates,” he said.
