NEET aspirant ends life due to stress | Lucknow News

Kanpur: A 21-year-old NEET aspirant allegedly died by suicide at a hostel in Rawatpur area of Kanpur on Friday, citing “stress about his future”. After returning from namaz, his roommate found the door locked from inside and alerted the police. Police broke open the door and found the body and a suicide note.In the note, the deceased apologised to his parents and wrote, “Ammi-Abbu forgive me…I won’t be able to fulfil your dreams…” He further wrote that he was under severe stress about his future and held himself responsible for the suicide.The deceased, a native of UP’s Rampur, had arrived at the hostel four days ago. Rawatpur inspector Manoj Mishra said the room has been sealed and the body sent for postmortem. He said the family is yet to file a complaint.
