MLA pays tributes to martyrs | Lucknow News
Lucknow: At the “Teri Mitti – Celebrating Tiranga” event held at B R Ambedkar auditorium, LDA Colony on Tuesday, Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh delivered a stirring address on patriotism and cultural heritage. Governor Anandiben Patel was the chief guest. She was joined by Padma Shri Malini Awasthi and lyricist Manoj Muntashir. Singh said, “This programme is a salute to the soil that gave us life and for which countless martyrs sacrificed everything. The debt to our motherland can never be repaid.” He hailed the governor as a symbol of women’s empowerment, education and social welfare, citing her initiatives from Gujarat’s “Shala Praveshotsav” to raising UP universities to NAAC A++ grades.
