Lucknow: Residents of Jankipuram Extension Sector-7 were promised enhanced water safety and sanitation measures after two more cases of diarrhoea were reported on Sunday. Both the patients were admitted to a local community health centre (CHC).Municipal commissioner Gaurav Kumar along with CMO Dr NB Singh and the municipal cleaning team inspected the area and assured residents of clean water and improved sanitation. TNNThe inspection focused on ensuring supply of safe drinking water, checking pipelines for leaks or contamination, distribution of chlorine tablets and cleaning drains with bleaching powder. Residents have been advised to boil water and seek immediate medical attention for any health issues.Kumar emphasised that public health is the top priority. Health officials will raise awareness door-to-door and provide prompt medical support to the needy. Municipal teams will continue cleaning and maintenance work, he added.
