Lucknow: A former Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad member in Gonda has sent a legal notice to UP minister and SBSP chief OP Rajbhar for calling outfit’s workers as goons.Adarsh Tiwari sent a notice through his lawyer Siddharth Shankar Dubey seeking a public apology from Rajbhar within 5 days of receiving the notice, failing which a defamation case would be filed.Angry over Rajbhar remarks, ABVP workers had burnt his effigy in front of his residence on Park Road in Lucknow earlier this week. The confrontation comes against the backdrop of ABVP protest at Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial University (SRSMU) over alleged irregularities in conduct of law course.Even as issue peaked, Rajbhar’s son and party national general secretary Arvind Rajbhar tried to calm down the situation by expressing solidarity with the agitating students.
