Kheri admin distributing 5K kits to flood-hit | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Lakhimpur Kheri administration is distributing over 5,000 special kits procured under the CSR programme to the flood-hit people in five sub-divisions.“This in addition to the financial assistance, compensation and regular relief kits being provided by the state govt,” said DM Durga Shakti Nagpal. Nagpal said the kits prepared with a budget of Rs 45 lakh from entrepreneurs, voluntary organisations and private firms are being distributed to the victims. Each kit valued at Rs 900 a mosquito net, umbrella, battery operated flashlight, sanitary pads and a water thermos. On Thursday, along with MLA Yogesh Verma, the team of administrative officials distributed special kits to affected families in Sadar tehsil. TNN
