Injured Deoria youth was in Delhi to buy stock for biz | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A 25-year-old man from Deoria, who was injured in the Delhi blast on Monday, had gone to the national capital to purchase clothes for his local business.The injured was identified as Shiva Jaiswal, a resident of Jayaprakash Nagar under Bhalauni Nagar Panchayat. According to family members, Shiva had gone to Delhi on Nov 9 for garment procurement. After buying clothes from Gandhi Nagar market, he visited his sister Poornima Jaiswal’s residence in Bhajanpura. Around 5 pm on Monday, while heading to meet his maternal cousin in Govindpuri Colony, he was caught in the impact of the sudden car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station.Following the blast, police and NSG teams reached the spot and rushed the injured to LNJP Hospital in Delhi, where doctors declared his condition stable. His sister Poornima confirmed around 11 pm that Shiva was out of danger and under continuous medical observation. Back home in Deoria, his mother Maya, a former district general secretary of the BJP Mahila Morcha, fainted upon hearing the news and left for Delhi on Tuesday morning. TNN
