Hosp staff held for bid to rape patient’s sister | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A contractual employee hospital was accused of attempting to rape an 18-year-old woman. The accused allegedly forced the young woman into a restroom and attempted to assault her. The girl’s father filed FIR at Wazirganj police station, leading to arrest of the accused, identified as Anil Kumar, on Sunday.According to the father of the girl, resident of Kakori, the family had come to Balrampur Hospital for treatment of his injured son, who had suffered a fracture. His 18-year-old daughter went to use the restroom. The father said the hospital employee forcibly took her into the restroom. He allegedly locked the door and attempted to assault her while making obscene gestures. The young woman managed to free herself and informed her family about the incident.
