Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.“Hearty congratulations to the people of the state on Hindi Diwas. Hindi is the basis of our unity and the guardian of our identity,” the CM said in a post on X in Hindi.“Hindi is not just a language, but a symbol of our culture. Hindi is the basis of our unity and identity. The language binds all the Indians together and connects them to their roots,” he said. “Let us resolve to use Hindi more and more and spread it globally, become partners in its development. Hindi has the potential to emerge as the most effective languae in the digital age,” he said.Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on Sept 14 to mark the adoption of Hindi as the official language by the Constituent Assembly on Sept 14, 1949.
