GST reforms: Dy CM, BJP teams engage with traders | Lucknow News



Lucknow: In a bid to promote GST reforms, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak, along with BJP president (Mahanagar) Anand Dwivedi, engaged with traders and consumers at Hazratganj Janpath Market. Finance minister Suresh Khanna met shopkeepers at Aminabad, while MLA Neeraj Bora visited the Engineering College intersection. MLA Mahendra Singh and OP Srivastava interacted with vendors at Bhootnath Market. During the visits, the teams distributed leaflets, placed stickers on shops, and presented roses to traders, highlighting the benefits of GST reforms.BJP media in-charge Praveen Garg said the party will continue its GST awareness campaign under the “GST Bachat Mahotsav” until Sept 29. Public representatives will continue to engage with markets to educate consumers and encourage businesses to update their billing systems and pricing according to the new reduced GST rates, as per government directives.
