Govt gets over 83L suggestions for Viksit UP vision document | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The state govt has received over 83 lakh suggestions and proposals for the Viksit Uttar Pradesh-2047 vision document. The deadline for sending suggestions is Nov 15, by which the govt hopes to have collected 1 crore suggestions and feedback regarding its development plan for the state.Out of the 83,45,914 suggestions received on the Samarthuttarpradesh portal till Monday, 65,09,471 were from rural areas and 18,36,444 from urban areas. The most number of suggestions, 41,47,797, were submitted by the youngest segment of citizens, those under the age of 31 years, followed by 38,07,447 by those aged 31–60 years, and 3,90,673 by those above 60 years.The agriculture sector has seen the most engagement with 22,36,086 proposals. This was followed by the education sector, which received 18,09,607 proposals, then rural development with 16,33,582 suggestions, social welfare with 6,33,133 suggestions, and urban and health with 5,65,239 proposals.The top five districts from where the maximum suggestions were received include Jaunpur with 7,85,588 suggestions, Saharanpur with 7,29,621, Ghazipur with 3,49,424, Hardoi with 2,21,485, and Ghaziabad with 2,09,918. Among the bottom five are Hapur with 39,238 proposals, Etawah with 42,026, Muzaffarnagar with 43,253, Mahoba with 44,656, and Gautam Buddha Nagar with 46,947.Kuldeep Singh from Saharanpur said that to make Saharanpur a model district for industrial development, the govt should focus on promoting micro and cottage industries and ensuring reliable road and electricity infrastructure. Sunil Kumar Gupta from Ambedkar Nagar suggested that Viksit UP should be based on IT and Emerging Technology.Basti’s Anmol Kasodhan said that to prevent avoidable deaths related to heart ailments, cardiologists and cardiology technicians must be directly recruited and posted at every Community Health Center (CHC). Each CHC should have at least one cardiologist and two technicians. Additionally, heart-care awareness campaigns should be conducted in every village to educate citizens on timely prevention and treatment.
