Girl topper from PSIT to get AKTU’s Chancellor’s gold

Lucknow: A top-performing student will be awarded the prestigious Chancellor’s Gold Medal at the 22nd Convocation Ceremony of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Tuesday. The student has achieved academic excellence, scoring high in all faculties.Naincy Purwar, a student of BTech Computer Science and Engineering at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT), Kanpur, has also achieved remarkable success by scoring 9.39 CGPA in BTech Computer Science Engineering and cracking the GATE exam with an impressive 99th percentile in the Junior Research Fellowship category A total of 88 medals and 50,000 degrees will be conferred to students of private, govt, and autonomous institutions affiliated with the university during the ceremony. Naincy Purwar, a student of BTech Computer Science and Engineering at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT), Kanpur, will be awarded the Chancellor’s gold medal. The Chancellor’s Medal is awarded to the student with the highest academic performance across all faculties.Unnati Gaur, a student of BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering at RD Engineering College, Ghaziabad, will be awarded the Late Kamal Rani Varun Gold Medal. “I dedicate this success to my father, Chandrakant, and my mother, Reeta, who always believed in me and motivated me to work hard without worrying about marks or final results. I didn’t do anything extra; it was simply classroom lectures and consistent five hours of study every day that helped me score the highest and bag the Chancellor’s Gold Medal,” said Naincy, adding,, “In GATE, I bagged 609 All India Rank, cracked NET with 99%, and now my dream is to do MTech from any of the leading IITs and then serve in any of the govt public sector organisations.” Gaur said, “I dedicate this medal to my father, Ram Kumar, who runs a small electricity shop, and my mother, Majnu. I bagged a CGPA of 8.84 in my BTech by being punctual and regular to classroom teaching, self-study, and revision.” She said, “I aim to pursue MTech and then a PhD and then open my own business.”
