The Bijnor police on Tuesday arrested a man accused of illegally storing, producing and selling agricultural products under fake branding and labels of a private company. The accused, Rahul Singh (29) of Vrindavan Yojna, Telibagh, was arrested near Parag Road in Krishna Nagar. An FIR was earlier registered at Bijnor police station on the written complaint of Premchand Sharma, Assistant Manager at Two-Buddy Consulting Pvt Ltd, Noida. The complaint alleged that Singh was illegally manufacturing and marketing products of the company by using fake wrappers, labels, and trademarks.Singh faces charges under sections 318(4)/336(3)/350(1) of the Baratiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Trademark Act, 1999, and the Copyright Act, 1957.
