Lucknow: UP panchayati raj minister and SBSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar met Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya in Lucknow on Thursday, a day after his residence was attacked by protesting ABVP activists.According to sources, Rajbhar also spoke to CM Yogi Adityanath, expressing resentment over the violent demonstration and alleged abusive remarks against him on social media by ABVP supporters. Maurya reportedly assured Rajbhar that “such incidents will not be repeated” and urged him to remain calm. On Wednesday, ABVP activists gathered outside Rajbhar’s residence, chanting slogans, burning his effigy over his recent remark branding ABVP members as “goons”.
