DGP gives cheques to kin of fallen cops | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Krishna on Thursday handed over cheques for Rs 14.15 crore to the families of eight police personnel who lost their lives while on duty.Assistance was provided under the Police Salary Package of Bank of Baroda, implemented through an MoU with the UP Police to ensure financial support for dependents of personnel who die in accidents or service-related circumstances. The DGP handed over the cheques in the presence of senior police officers and representatives of the bank.
