Depressed over death of sister, teen ends life | Lucknow News

Lucknow: A 17-year-old boy, who was under depression after the death of his sister, committed suicide by hanging himself on Raksha Bandhan.The incident took place at Gohanakhurd village in Itaunja police station area of Lucknow. The deceased was identified as Robin.According to the police, Robin went to his farm along with his father. After reaching the farm, he sent his father to bring fertiliser and pesticides. Robin committed suicide as soon as his father left the farm. The police said Robin committed suicide by hanging himself from a Neem tree outside the village. Robin’s sister had also committed suicide about six months back by hanging herself in her house. Robin was under depression since then.
