Cricket tie bats for cleanliness | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A cleanliness-awareness cricket tournament, under Swachh Survey 2025-26, began on Monday at KD Singh Babu Stadium. Inaugurated by mayor Sushma Kharakwal, the opening match was played between Mayor XI and Media XI. The mayor said such events help spread the message of cleanliness and informed that the tournament is being conducted as a zero-waste event. Senior officials, councillors and media representatives attended the event. Four teams—Mayor XI, Municipal Commissioner XI, Jalkal XI and Media XI—will participate in the tournament in the coming days.
