Lucknow: The 68th Convocation Week at Lucknow University was conducted with zeal as departments across the campus hosted a series of academic, cultural and sports activities to highlight talent, creativity and enthusiasm of the students on Tuesday.Department of commerce organised a poster-making contest on the ‘anti-ragging’ theme to spread awareness about building safe and inclusive campus. Students expressed their ideas with creativity and Jyotika Yadav won first prize. Institute of Management Sciences celebrated with table tennis tournament, in which, Tanmay Jain emerged winner in boys’ category, while Ananya Gupta won the girls’ final.The department of botany hosted a snapshot photography contest in which Anshul Prajapati secured first prize. Department of zoology, in collaboration with EIACP-PC-RP, held ‘Quiz Hungama’ on the rich history of LU.A grand cultural programme organised by Sanskritiki board featured beat-boxing, classical and folk dances, poetry and inter-college competitions in instrumental music and costume festival, leaving audience enthralled.
