CM offers prayers at Ram Lalla temple, Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya

Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday undertook a one-day visit to the temple town of Ayodhya, where he offered prayers at the revered Hanumangarhi temple and later paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Lalla. The CM began his visit with rituals at the historic Sankat Mochan Hanumangarhi shrine, where he performed special prayers and sought blessings for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of UP. After completing the rituals, he proceeded to the Ram Janmabhoomi temple site. At the Ram Mandir complex, CM Yogi performed aarti of Ram Lalla, circumambulated the temple premises, and also offered prayers at the Ram Darbar. He interacted with devotees, acknowledging their greetings as he exited the sanctum. During the visit, Yogi also reviewed the ongoing construction of the Ram Mandir. Office bearers of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust briefed him on the progress of the works, current status of structural development, and future plans for completion.Earlier, the CM was accorded a grand welcome by local BJP functionaries, elected representatives and senior officials upon his arrival at the Maharishi Valmiki airport.
