Champat Rai opens book fair in Ayodhya | Lucknow News
Ayodhya: The general secretary of Ram temple trust and VHP leader Champat Rai on Sunday inaugurated a book fair in Faizabad which is being organised by former Congress MP Nirmal Khatri Rai said that organizing a book fair in the computer age is a matter of pride for Awadh. He said that organizing such a grand event shows immense love for literature even in today’s digital age. “Such events maintain the connection of literature lovers with their mother tongue, inspiring the younger generation to be attracted to books,” Rai said. The Faizabad Book Fair is being held for 16 years in memory of Faizabad lawyer Narain Das Khatri, who was the government counsel when Babri Masjid was unlocked in February 1986. Former Congress MP Nirmal Khatri is his elder son.
