Bike-borne miscreants loot gold chain, cash | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants looted a gold chain and Rs 10,000 in cash from two shop owners and assaulted them near Khargapur crossing in Vineet Khand-5, Gomtinagar, on Friday night. One miscreant was caught by locals and handed over to police, while the other escaped with the gold chain.According to reports, the victim, Arjun Sahu, was returning home after closing his shop around 10:30 pm when two miscreants snatched cash from his bag. Hearing the commotion, Hari Sharan Nigam, owner of a nearby shop, and his son Shivam rushed to help and tried to overpower the accused. The miscreants then attacked Arjun and Hari Sharan, seriously injuring both, and also assaulted Shivam. The accused who managed to flee took away Hari Sharan’s gold chain. A complaint was lodged at Gomtinagar police station on Saturday.TNN
