BHOPAL: A professor allegedly barged into the house of a 36-year-old woman teacher and physically assaulted her after some street dogs outside her home barked at him while he was passing on his bike at a covered campus colony in a residential area in the city.He dragged the teacher outside shouting at her. He was angry as she fed the street dogs that charged at him. The incident was captured on the CCTV cameras fitted at her home. The woman recorded his misbehaviour on her smartphone as well.
Acting on the complaint, police registered a case on charges of molestation, assault, and house trespass against the accused and started investigations.Police said that the complainant, a 36-year-old woman, worked as a teacher at a school and presently takes private coaching classes at her home. She alleged that on Tuesday evening around 7 pm, while she was taking a class inside her home, the door was closed. Suddenly, the accused, a resident of the same colony who works as a professor at a private college, entered her courtyard by opening the boundary gate and banged on the door. As she opened the door, he grabbed her hand, dragged her outside, shouted, and assaulted her for feeding the street dogs. He alleged that when he was passing in front of her home on his bike, the dogs barked at him.He shouted that the dogs barked at him whenever he passed through the road. He took her out and created a ruckus. The incident was caught on the CCTV cameras fitted at her home, and she also recorded the incident on her smartphone. Police said that the woman fed the street dogs and got them vaccinated. She sustained bruises in the sudden attack.
