ASCI training to upgrade PCB officers | Lucknow News
Lucknow: In a first, UP pollution control board is holding a mid-career training programme for Class-One officers, aiming to enhance expertise, leadership capabilities, efficiency and vision of officers.UPPCB chairman RP Singh said training will be in collaboration with the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. “The partnership will provide UPPCB officers national and international-level training methodologies, benefiting from ASCI’s experience in training 4,500 individuals annually,” Singh said.The training seeks to equip officers with ability to address contemporary challenges, embrace modern technologies, and improve efficiency in public-interest endeavours. The training is expected to enhance the institution’s efficiency, transparency, and environmental management capabilities.The training programme will be fully residential so that officers get a focused and intensive learning environment without disrupting regular operations. The programme will be organised in two batches—in Oct-Nov 2025 and in Feb-Mar 2026.
