AMC Centre & College gets ATLS certificate

Lucknow: The Army Medical Corps (AMC) Centre & College has officially become a certified Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Training Node. 32 medical and dental officers are undergoing intensive training in life-saving trauma protocols. Under the expert guidance of Prof M C Misra, former director of AIIMS Delhi and Chair of ATLS India, and with instructors from KGMU and AFMS hospitals, participants are mastering the critical ABCDE approach to trauma assessment, rapid decision-making, and coordinated team response during the “golden hour” of trauma care. The inauguration ceremony was graced by KGMU VC Prof Soniya Nityanand, Prof Misra and Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, AVSM, Commandant AMC Centre & College.
