‘Bad touch’ sparks protest at nursing college | Lucknow News

Kanpur: Chaos erupted at the College of Nursing and Medical Studies in Unnao after a girl student levelled allegations of ‘bad touch’ against the medical superintendent during a medical examination on Saturday night.As soon as the news spread, students staged a protest on the campus. Police had to use mild force to disperse the students.The complainant, a nursing student, alleged that the medical superintendent touched her inappropriately during a medical checkup on Nov 17 and threatened her with dire consequences when she protested.She said that she was so frightened that she could not muster courage to file a complaint for several days. On Saturday, she informed her family members about the incident who went to the college and lodged a protest. The victim also levelled allegations of misconduct and mental harassment against two nurses. TNN
