On Constitution Day, Maya urges central and state govts to implement welfare objectives | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday said that implementing the Constitution’s egalitarian, humanitarian, and welfare objectives is the need of the hour, and she hopes the central and state govts will do that.“Today, the country is celebrating Constitution Day, and on this special occasion, I offer my heartfelt tributes to the original architect of the Indian Constitution and the messiah of the Bahujan Samaj, the most revered Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar,” she said in her post on X. She added, “I also hope that the central and state govts, in addition to celebrating Constitution Day, will also fulfil the expectations of the people by honestly and faithfully implementing the Constitution’s egalitarian, humanitarian, and welfare objectives. This is the need of the hour.”
