BSP’s all-India meet in Lucknow today | Lucknow News



Lucknow: After holding a state-level meeting of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Lucknow on Oct 16, BSP president Mayawati has convened an all-India meeting of the party in the state capital on Sunday (Oct 19).The meeting, however, will not include participation from the UP and Uttarakhand units of the party as they were present during the Oct 16 meet. After the successful organisation of the party rally in Lucknow on Oct 9, which was also the 19th death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram, this will be the first national-level meeting of the party that Mayawati will preside over. She will focus on strengthening the party’s organisational structure in every state and increasing the base of the party among all sections of people (sarvsamaj). She will also review the party-related work for every state unit, besides issuing instructions for the future course in every state. According to sources, the national-level meeting has been called a few days before Mayawati is to leave for Bihar, where she is the main star campaigner of the party, apart from national convener Akash Anand.
