10 dist chiefs among 16 IPS officers shifted | Lucknow News

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh govt transferred 16 IPS officers, including 10 district police chiefs, on Thursday. The rejig saw multiple key postings across the state, with several officers attached to the DGP headquarters in Lucknow.SSP Azamgarh Hemraj Meena was attached to the DGP headquarters, while SP Pratapgarh Anil Kumar was appointed the new SSP Azamgarh. In turn, SP Unnao Deepak Bhukar was posted as SP Pratapgarh, and Jai Prakash, serving in the security wing, was made SP Unnao. SP Kushinagar Santosh Mishra was attached to the DGP headquarters, and SP Ambedkarnagar Keshav Kumar was given the charge of Kushinagar. SP Auraiya Abhijit Shankar was posted as SP Ambedkarnagar, while DCP Prayagraj Abhishek Bharti was made SP Auraiya. In another key move, SSP Aligarh Sanjiv Suman was transferred as SP Deoria, with SP Deoria Vikrant Vir attached to the DGP headquarters. SP Hardoi Neeraj Jadaun was made SSP Aligarh, and SP Sonbhadra Ashok Meena was posted as SP Hardoi. SP GRP Agra Abhishek Verma was transferred to Sonbhadra as SP, while Anil Jha was appointed SP GRP Agra. Manish Shandila was appointed DCP Prayagraj, and SP Sarvesh Mishra was made Commandant PAC in Prayagraj.
