Lucknow: AKTU’s young visionaries stole the spotlight on Tuesday as the university, for the first time in its history, celebrated startups at its 23rd convocation. In all, Seven startups were recognized across categories.Accessibility Startup Award winner was Impacech Solutions, founded by Harsh Chauhan and Sarthak Shishodia. Their Life Vision device offers 360° protection for the visually impaired. In the Agriculture Startup Award category, Urbhydro Kishan founded by Subhankar Chauhan was recognized for its hydroponics-based urban farming solutions. Healthcare innovation took centerstage with JJPK Innovations, Kanpur, led by Parijat Srivastava along with Jayanti Tiwari.The Social-Impact Startup Award went to Bharat Work founded by Tejas Kumar Garg. Pulsewave Innovations, incubated at MIET Meerut, was recognized for its device Raksha Kavach. It was developed by Mohit. The highlight was the Women-Led Startup Award, won by ThirdEye founded by Rozy Maindoliya, a student of Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Divyangjan, Kanpur. The Tech-Innovation Startup Award was presented to Innovacore Technologies and Solutions LLP, founded by Deekshant Kumar, for its Kavach 1.0 anti-drone system.
