CBI arrests 2 narcotics inspectors for 10L bribe | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of CBI Lucknow on Tuesday arrested two inspectors of the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) along with a private nursing home owner after uncovering a bribery and extortion racket involving the procurement of restricted drugs. Inspector Mahipal Singh in criminal conspiracy with inspector Ravi Ranjan and others demanded an undue advantage from Gayasuddin Ahmad, owner of a private nursing home in Lucknow. CBI recovered Rs 10 lakh in bribe money allegedly paid by Ahmad to the inspectors. TNN
