2 accused in Behta blast case held

Lucknow: Police on Sunday arrested two persons in connection with the blast in Gudamba’s Behta area that killed four people on Aug 31.The explosion was traced to the illegal storage and manufacturing of explosives. Police said the arrested men are identified as Mohammad Naseem (54) and Mohammad Yakoob alias Ghaplu (53), both residents of Behta. They were picked up near Scorpio Club by a Gudamba police team led by sub inspector Hariom Patel. Earlier, another accused, Tinu alias Ali Ahmad (48), was arrested on Sept 5 and sent to judicial custody. DCP (East) announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to the arrest of the accused. TNN
