16-year-old boy drowns in pond during idol immersion | Lucknow News
Ayodhya: A16-year-old boy from Salhipur Parsipur village of Bikapur tehsil area in Ayodhya drowned in a pond during the immersion of Durga idols on Thursday, police said.They added that Sandeep had gone with his family members and villagers for idol immersion when he slipped into deep water and drowned. It took five hours of extensive search by police, divers and locals to fish out the body. Additional district magistrate Anirudh Singh said he was taken to Community Health Centre where doctors declared him dead.
