A woman employee at a prominent jewellery firm in Gomtinagar allegedly stole nearly 2.5 kg of gold ornaments over four years, police said on Sunday. The accused, identified as Komal Srivastava, worked as a bank office executive at the store. The alleged theft came to light a day before Dhanteras during routine stock verification.
