Udit Raj accuses Maya of helping BJP in Bihar | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Former MP and national chairman of DOMA (Dalit, OBC, Muslim and Adivasi) Parisangh, Udit Raj, launched a scathing attack on BSP chief Mayawati, alleging that the rally held in Lucknow on Kanshi Ram’s death anniversary was merely a pretext, with the real aim being to help the BJP in the Bihar elections.“Mayawati has long aided the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, and now she has taken up the contract for Bihar too,” he claimed. Udit also questioned Mayawati’s silence on the prolonged imprisonment of activists Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, Meeran Haider, and Gulfisha Fatima without bail, despite her professed outreach to Muslims. He further criticised the Uttar Pradesh govt, calling it ‘anti-worker’. “The govt formed the UP Outsource Service Corporation despite a Supreme Court ruling mandating regularisation of 11 lakh outsourced employees. These moves legalise exploitation and undermine democracy,” he said.
