The evening saw Shirin Soraiya breathe new life into timeless renditions once immortalised by Hemanta Mukhopadhyay, Debabrata Biswas, Sagar Sen, Chinmoy Chattopadhyay, Suchitra Mitra, Kanika Bandyopadhyay, and Sumitra Sen — voices that have indelibly shaped Bengal’s cultural and musical tapestry.
