PCL engr shunted over ‘negligence’ | Lucknow News
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) chairman Ashish Kumar Goel on Tuesday ordered the transfer of Ashok Kumar, chief engineer of Ghaziabad, following serious complaints of negligence. The action stems from two major lapses under Kumar’s supervision. Upon investigation, the chairman found Kumar guilty of supervisory negligence in both cases. As a result, he has been administratively transferred from Ghaziabad and placed at the disposal of UPPCL. Furthermore, disciplinary action has been ordered against other officials and staff found responsible for the delays and disruptions.
