Grievance redressal camp organised at I-T office | Lucknow News
Lucknow: As part of the govt of India’s ‘Swachhata Mah’ initiative, the office of the principal commissioner of income tax (Central), Lucknow, organised a special camp for redressal of taxpayers’ grievances at Ayakar Bhawan on Wednesday.The camp was inaugurated by director general (Investigation) Ajay Atri, in the presence of principal commissioner Meenakshi Singh and principal director (Investigation) Raman Kant Garg. Atri said the department prioritises taxpayer services, adding that grievance redressal camps provide an important platform for taxpayers to interact directly with officials. He highlighted the department’s focus on transparency, efficiency, and responsiveness. Meenakshi Singh noted that the Central Charge, Lucknow, achieved over 80% grievance disposal through CPGRAMS and 82% through e-Niwaraan, while also recording a 62% rise in Gross Budget Collection .
