Lucknow: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, who visited the site immediately after the incident, assured all assistance to the victims. He spoke with eyewitnesses to understand the circumstances leading to the accident. Pathak also visited Balrampur Hospital to meet the injured and their families. “The treatment of all injured persons is being provided free of cost,” he said. In a preventive measure, Pathak told the district administration, municipal authorities, and the forest department to identify all old and potentially hazardous trees across the district and initiate removal or pruning in accordance with regulations.
