Dudhwa reopens for tourists early

Lucknow: The Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (DTR) in Uttar Pradesh reopened its gates for tourists on Saturday following the period of routine annual closure which began Jun 15.This year, Dudhwa reopened for tourists on Nov 1, marking an earlier start from the usual date of Nov 15. The new ecotourism season for 2025-26 was inaugurated in the presence of Arun Kumar Saxena, minister of state (independent charge) for environment, forest and climate change.Saxena hailed the early reopening of the forest reserve as a “Diwali gift” to tourists from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
