Cong appoints Pragya Singh as interim chief of UP AIPC | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The All India Professionals Congress (AIPC) on Saturday appointed Pragya Singh as the acting chairperson of its Uttar Pradesh unit.Vice-chairman of the media department, Manish Hindwi, said: “The move aims to strengthen and energise the organisation in the state.” He informed that Singh is an architect by profession but is passionate about social work. “Singh has been associated with the Congress Party for several years. She actively worked to engage professionals, entrepreneurs and youth with mainstream politics and public policy,” he said. Expressing gratitude to the party’s leadership, Singh said: “This is an honour and a responsibility. I am committed to advancing Rahul Gandhi’s vision of greater participation of professionals in politics. Our aim will be to ensure that professionals in every district of Uttar Pradesh have a strong collective voice.”
