Lucknow: UP BJP Mahila Morcha President Geeta Shakya said on Saturday that abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother at the Congress rally in Bihar was an insult to the cultural heritage of the state.Addressing Morcha workers during a demonstration, ‘Aakrosh Dharna’, in protest of abusive language for Modi, Shakya said opposition had crossed all its limits in its lust for power and hatred for the PM. “Frustration of Congress and its allies is pushing them towards mean politics. In their Bihar meet, Prime Minister was abused constantly and insulted from the platform of the Mahagathbandhan. Such is their frustration even before they have lost the elections,” she said.The demonstration, held near VVIP Guest House in the city, saw angry party workers in a raging protest. They marched from VVIP Guest House towards Congress office. Some workers climbed police barricades and one woman worker reportedly fainted during the demonstration.Shakya said Rahul Gandhi should apologise to PM Modi and all mothers and sisters of the country from the public platform. “By abusing PM, people are breaking political traditions and decorum,” she said.
